The Centennial anniversary of the International Labor Organization and indigenous right
For a century, the International Labor Organization adopted standards specifically linked to the indigenous issue. On February 19, 2020, at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), I participated in a conference on Human Rights and Indigenous Peoples where I analyzed the challenges facing Convention number 169 to achieve more ratifications in a context of crisis for the ILO supervisory mechanism, product of a persistent conflict between the social partners. The Spanish have ratified Convention Number 169. The impunity enjoyed by violations of Convention Number 169 verified by the ILO supervisory mechanisms should challenge our collective responsibility and receive greater attention in academic fields.El Centenario de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo y los derechos indígenas
